How to get there
From Lima, you can get there in two ways.
By bus: There are many companies that make this journey. We recommend Cruz Del Sur and Movil bus, as they have good service, are very comfortable, and above all, are very safe companies. Buses depart in the mornings, at noon, and in the evenings. The journey takes approximately 7 hours, and prices vary greatly.
By flight: It only takes 30 minutes. All flights depart from Jorge Chavez airport in Lima and arrive at Francisco Carlé airport in Jauja. The airline you can take is LATAM Perú.

Pick-up service
Transfers from Lima for volunteers:
If necessary and only upon express request, our organization will send a person to pick up the volunteer at Lima airport, arrange accommodation, and accompany them to take the bus to Huancayo the next day. This option incurs an additional cost of $100.00 per person and includes:
- Airport pick-up and transfer to accommodation in Miraflores (Lima)
- One-night accommodation in Lima city / Hostel accommodation
- Transfer to the bus terminal
- Bus ticket Lima – Huancayo
